Holding on to God’s Promises

Praise the LORD who has given rest to his people Israel, just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises he gave through his servant Moses. – 1 Kings 8:65 NLT

How many people do you know hold true to everything they say?  Not many I’m sure. Nobody is perfect, and we all fall short sometimes. There is only one person who, since the beginning of time, has always kept His word.

In the scripture above, God explains, no matter what, if God said He’s going to do something, He’s going to do it! Every single word that God says is his bond and He will not stop until His word is fulfilled.

God’s word will never fail, no matter what the need may be:

If God promised you that business, He’s going to give it to you.

If God promised you that ministry, He’s going to give it to you.

If God promised restoration in your marriage, He’s going to give it to you.

If God promised you generational deliverance, He’s going to give it to you.

All you have to do is trust and believe! That’s it. God just wants you to have faith!

Sometimes life comes and knocks us down. We get discouraged when things do not go as we planned, but God told us in Psalm 119:11 to hide His word in our hearts. This means , whatever God has told us, advised us to do, or promised us, we are to hold Him to it and remain hopeful that, in due time, He will show us that His word is never void.

Those things that God told you and promised you, hide those things in your heart. Always keep them in the back of your mind. In due season, you will get it, you just have to keep the faith.

God has your back. He hasn’t abandoned His promise to you. This is YOUR confirmation that that promise that you’ve been waiting so long for is on its way. You just have to keep believing. You’ve come too far to throw everything away now. Allow God to bless you the way He wants to, and you won’t regret it.
