In order to numb the hurt from the crazy chaos of her life, American Idol Season Six winner, Jordin Sparks was the party girl. She needed a temporary fix to get through life.
It was last Easter after accepting an invitation to her aunt and uncle’s church, Sparks says it was there where Jesus met and reawakened her.
After rededicating her life to Jesus Christ, 27-year-old, singer/actress shares, “I have not been the same.”
It was at the annual Harvest America event, which took place at the University of Phoenix, Sparks shared her testimony followed by a performance of “My Redeemer Lives.” There Sparks describes while rekindling her relationship with Christ she was never ashamed of her faith, nevertheless for a while she stopped seeking God. “I wasn’t diving deeper,” Sparks admitted. However after witnessing that Jesus was still with her every day of her life flaws and all she declared, “this year has been the most amazing year of my life.”
Still in awe of His profound love, Sparks took her message to social media and shared on her Instagram feed her thoughts of the overall event by exclaiming, “What a beautiful night! So many people came home to Jesus’ loving arms. I’m overwhelmed in the best way.”
Now better than ever, Sparks is ready to take back the joy the enemy stole from her and reminds everyone that, “It’s never too late to come home. He loves you no matter what.”
