A “New Spin” on an Old Message: ECHO

Every Sunday at noon, a group of millennials come together to glorify God in their own way. Their service is known as ECHO.

The service is held at the Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Oxon Hill, MD and facilitated by youth pastors, Kevin Borders and Brelyn Bowman.

Alongside the message taught on Sundays, ECHO features the Young Adult Music Ministry and the SOFCC Zion Dance Ministry.

Pastor Michael Freeman, the senior pastor of Spirit of Faith, says he desires that the voice of God be echoed to the next generation. He shares that traditional services might not attract the next generation to attend church; hence, the inception of ECHO.

Although ECHO’s target audience is millennials, all ages are welcomed enjoy the service.  The service can be viewed on Facebook Live.
